What are Tortogons?
Tortogons is a special dragon species that can be found all over the world. They are easily recognizable by their armor that protects their most vurnerable areas. Those are usually their chest, abdominal area and spine. Tortogons have adapted to all types of environments, they can be found from deep within to sea to even the desert!
They can be seen in all types of colors and forms, sadly Tortogons with wings are extremely rare. But remarkably they all have the ability to breath fire.
Tortogons love to wear (or hoard) jewerly. They do not require clothing but they can wear them if they desire to.
Tortogons are born out of eggs, you can try to predict how they will look like the color patterns. The highest of their population exists of females, males are rarely seen.
Their intelligence and personalities can vary a lot from each other, but they are usually known for being kind (even if they show it in their own special way).
Extra Information (You may ignore this if desired and use your own imagination)
Tortogons vary in sizes, it can go from 3' 11" to even 7' 1". There are special cases who's heights are even smaller or lager.
Tortogons are omnivorous, but depending on where they live their bodies will adapt to fit their needs. For example if a Tortogon lives in a rather flora region they will most likely choose to only eat plants. But this can also depend on their own personal choices, some might even choose to only eat meat or fish.
Their shells are flexible to fit their physical needs so that they are able to move freely. But they are also made of very sturdy material. Because of that their shells are rather high in value.
All female Tortogons lay eggs once a year. If they haven't mated with a male before hand, they will still lay eggs but those eggs will be infertile. The amount can range from 2 to 10 eggs. Because Tortogons can lay that many eggs some choose to never seek out a male.
Tortogons can live up to 200 years! It's been heard that some have even lived much longer.
